I am a Chartered Building Surveyor and live in York. Photography has been my hobby all my life and I’m told I have a knack of producing a very good image. I think if you love what you’re doing then you’re well on your way to doing it well. I do take photography seriously and always want to do my best. I believe the technical aspects of cameras, lenses etc must be fully understood but the act of taking the picture is creating art. Photographers take pictures, not cameras.
